Fishing Report July 27th

Vancouver Salmon Fishing is continuing to get better after weeks of being slow. The West Van shoreline is producing Pinks, Coho, Springs and evan getting an odd Sockeye. The Pinks and Sockeye have started to show up in the last week. The start of over 20 million returning to the Vancouver area and the river systems. Howe Sound the start off the Squamish Pinks have started to show up not in huge numbers yet but by August Howe Sound will be stacked with them. The Gulf Islands are still producing some very nice Springs and surprisingly a few more Halibut were hit this week. Things look great for August and September. Crabbing remains great, lots of big dungeness crab nothing like a crab and salmon barbeque after a day on the water.
