Hopefully the weather turns to the better and we will all get out there and get a lot better idea of how the fishing is. Untill next time good luck and it should start picking up later on in March.

Still great weather and the fishing has just got better. The Gulf islands are still good off of Thrasher and Five fingers. Howe Sound there have been a few Springs taken off Salmon Rock. The West van shoreline has been quite good for Coho and there’re a few Springs mixed in. T10 which is off the airport and the middle arm of the Fraser river has been producing Springs with some days being very good. Beautiful day out on the water for the lucky people that were able to get out on the waters around Vancouver. Big salmon fishing derby today. Waters everywhere today was flat calm sunny and less than 5 knots of wind. Seemed to be an early bite today the first couple hours of daylight seemed to be best. The winning fish in the derby was a 25 pound Spring salmon, congrads to the winner. There was 18 spring salmon weighed in at the derby a good day on the water for everybody.
